Skills
A skill is a reusable set of instructions an agent can pull in when it’s relevant — for example, “how we write commit messages” or “our API conventions.” You manage them at Settings → Skills.

Create a skill
- Open Settings → Skills.
- Create a skill and give it a name and a short description. The description is how the agent decides when the skill applies, so make it specific.
- Write the instructions. Add supporting files if the skill needs them.
- Choose where it lives:
- personal — available in every project
- project — available only in the current project
Use a skill in chat
Type / in the middle of a message to bring up the skill picker, then choose one. The agent loads that skill’s instructions for the response.
A / at the very start of the message opens commands instead.
